Stainless steel 200 series
200 series grades
Stainless steel of the 200 seriesare chromium-manganese-nickel austenitic steels, similar in their properties to AISI 301. In the annealed state, they completely retain the austenitic structure. After cold deformation and strengthening, these steels are applicable in those cases where it is necessary to take into account the load factors in the structures. The combination of a high content of manganese and nitrogen, as well as a sufficient amount of nickel, gives this alloy excellent strength, rigidity at cryogenic temperatures and ambient temperatures. Steels of the 200 series have good oxidation resistance, comparable to AISI 301 at temperatures up to 800 ° C.
Steels of the 200 series are used in many areas where AISI 301 and AISI 304 steel grades have traditionally been used. Alloys of this series are relatively economical compared to austenitic grades of the 300 series. At the same time, they have similar formability and weldability. They have good resistance to moderately aggressive environments. They can be welded by all traditional methods applied to grade 304 austenitic stainless steel. Filler wire or electrodes made of ordinary chromium-nickel steel of the 300 series can be used. The sensitivity of these steels to intercrystalline corrosion in the heating zone during welding is similar to that of AISI 304. Steels of the 200 series are very strong and ductile. They are easily subjected to cold drawing, bending, drawing and twisting.

Stainless Steel Grade AISI 201 | EN 1.4372 | DIN X8CrMnNi18-8
AISI 201 | EN 1.4372 | DIN X8CrMnNi18-8 - stainless steel, belonging to the family of austenitic stainless steels. It is characterized by high strength, plasticity and rigidity. It has very low thermal conductivity. Products made of this grade of stainless steel can be used in a fairly wide range of temperatures. One of the advantages of the grade is its fairly high resistance to corrosion. Such steel can be in moderately
...Stainless Steel Grade AISI 202 | EN 1.4373 | DIN X12CrMnNiN18-9-5
AISI 202 | EN 1.4373 | DIN X12CrMnNiN18-9-5 is a widely used grade of stainless steel that is characterized by high hardness, strength and good corrosion resistance. It is quite well processed in annealed condition. For complete transformation and heat treatment, the material must be heated to a temperature of 1038 °C for 30 minutes and then cooled to below 16 °C.
...Stainless Steel Grade AISI 204Cu | EN 1.4597 | DIN X8CrMnCuNB17-8-3
AISI 204Cu | EN 1.4597 | DIN X8CrMnCuNB17-8-3 - is a special type of stainless steel that is a chromium-magnesium austenitic stainless steel. Due to the addition of copper, the steel has better formability than AISI 201 and AISI 304 stainless steels. Copper improves corrosion resistance and increases resistance to stress corrosion cracking in certain environments. EN 1.4597 is somewhere between the prices of 200 and 300
