AISI 316Ti | EN 1.4571 | DIN X6CrNiMo17-12-2 | 10Х17Н13М2Т - austenitic stainless steel. This is a version of AISI 316 steel with the addition of titanium to the composition. It is characterized by high resistance to sensitization for a long time at a temperature of 550 - 800 °C. It is used where the main requirement is high corrosion resistance under conditions of increased aggressiveness.

Welding
AISI 316Ti | EN 1.4571 | DIN X6CrNiMo17-12-2 is easily welded using standard methods. No heat treatment is required after welding. The weld seam must be descaled and passivated.
Cold working
This grade of stainless steel is ductile. It is easily formed by bending, drawing, contour forming, rotary drawing, etc.
Heat treatment
Annealing: at a temperature of 1050 - 1075 °C.
Cooling in air or water.
Tempering: at a temperature of 200 to 400 °C.

Molybdenum in the composition increases the corrosion resistance of steel in acid vapors and sea water. Titanium - increases the strength of steel and enhances resistance to aggressive environments.
Application
Due to its high heat resistance and resistance to corrosion in aggressive environments, AISI 316Ti stainless steel can be used:
- in the chemical, oil and gas industries;
- for the manufacture of food tanks, tapes, pipelines;
- in medicine and pharmaceuticals;
- in power engineering, pulp and paper production and the production of cutting tools;
- in the manufacture of heat exchangers, turbine blades, machine parts and compressors;
- in construction and design (production of structures);
- in the manufacture of apparatus and containers for working with acids.
