This is a thin-walled welded stainless steel pipe of AISI 201 grade with a circular cross-section (round pipe), which has an outer diameter of 8 mm, a wall thickness of 1 mm and a mirror polished surface with a roughness of 600 GRIT. This is a fairly high level of polishing, which gives the pipe a mirror shine. The inner diameter of the pipe is 6 mm. The pipe is made using the TIG welding method. Such pipes are widely used in various industries and construction due to their corrosion resistance, aesthetic appearance and good mechanical properties. A pipe made of AISI 201 steel is a budget version of stainless steel, which is well suited for many applications, but has a slightly lower corrosion resistance than, for example, AISI 304. The inner surface of the pipe is not processed. The weld seam of the pipe is inside the pipe. It is not visible from the outside, since the entire outer surface of the pipe is evenly polished.
