Material of Manufacture and Standards
This round profile is manufactured from alloyed austenitic stainless steel grade AISI 201 (well-known domestic analogue is 12Х15Г9НД, European standard is EN 1.4372). In this steel grade, a part of the scarce nickel is balanced out and replaced with manganese and nitrogen, which provides high strength, stable structure, and excellent formability under cold working at a significantly more affordable cost. AISI 201 steel has moderate corrosion resistance and is designed for long-term operation in moderate, non-aggressive environments and premises with low or normal humidity levels.
