Stainless steel pipe tube AISI 201 - a long hollow metal product / type of stainless rolled metal made of stainless steel grade AISI 201. In cross-section it can have the shape of a circle, square, rectangle, oval or flat-oval or other special shape. The name "technical stainless steel pipe" is often used. Although this is incorrect from a technical point of view. After all, AISI 201 refers to food grade austenitic stainless steel.

Features and Benefits

The pipe is alloyed with such chemical elements as copper, nickel, manganese, chromium, nitrogen and carbon. Phosphorus and sulfur in it are harmful impurities. Due to the presence of nitrogen in its composition, it acquires the properties of an austenitic pipe. Nickel and chromium increase anti-corrosion properties. Provide good wear resistance, strength, rigidity and red-stability. The manufacturability of pipe 201 is increased by the presence of copper in it. The manufacturability of the pipe is also increased by manganese. Such a chemical composition makes this pipe relatively cheap (stainless steel pipe AISI 304 is more expensive) and at the same time resistant to corrosion while maintaining good machinability and welding performance.
