The surface condition of the pipe weld (as well as the surface condition of the pipe itself) has a very large effect on the corrosion resistance of the stainless steel profile pipe. A smooth, shiny polished surface always has a higher corrosion resistance than a rough, ground, satin or even untreated surface. Profile pipes of this brand are non-magnetic.
