Stainless Steel Grade AISI 316Cb | EN 1.4580 | DIN X6CrNiMoNb17-12-2

AISI 316Cb | EN 1.4580 | DIN X6CrNiMoNb17-12-2 - is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel alloy that provides excellent corrosion resistance and increased strength at elevated temperatures.

The chemical composition makes this grade of stainless steel an ideal material for use in highly aggressive environments such as petrochemical plants and offshore platforms, while maintaining sufficient flexibility for most industrial operations.

The grade has excellent corrosion resistance, increased strength at higher temperatures and excellent mechanical properties during cold working. It is an ideal material for applications requiring high levels of strength, durability and resistance to extreme temperature changes.

The alloy is not subject to hardening and is non-magnetic. Niobium is a stabilizer.

Application temperature maximum 600 °C.
