AISI 317LN | EN 1.4434 | DIN X2CrNiMoN18-12-4 is a nitrogen alloyed austenitic stainless steel with a higher nitrogen content than other conventional austenitic stainless steels. It has higher strength and tensile strength than AISI 317L stainless steel. The steel provides resistance to sensitization during welding and thermal processes.
Its low carbon content makes the alloy resistant to intergranular corrosion. It also provides excellent corrosion resistance to organic, sulfuric and phosphoric acids.
The material's high strength, corrosion resistance and ability to withstand high temperatures and thermal cycles make it an ideal material for use in a wide range of industrial applications.
AISI 317LN | EN 1.4434 | DIN X2CrNiMoN18-12-4 is a molybdenum-containing austenitic stainless steel known for its superior chemical corrosion resistance compared to 304 and 316 stainless steels. It is particularly useful in environments with strong acids and high temperatures.
