AISI 201 | EN 1.4372 | DIN X8CrMnNi18-8 - stainless steel, belonging to the family of austenitic stainless steels. It is characterized by high strength, plasticity and rigidity. It has very low thermal conductivity. Products made of this grade of stainless steel can be used in a fairly wide range of temperatures. One of the advantages of the grade is its fairly high resistance to corrosion. Such steel can be in moderately aggressive environments for a long time, for example, acidic ones. In this indicator, AISI 201 is slightly inferior to 300 series steels, but significantly superior to 400 series steels. However, very long-term contact of AISI 201 with aggressive chemicals is highly undesirable. It is not recommended to produce containers for industrial acids, alkalis, etc. from such steel.

AISI 304 | EN 1.4301 | DIN X5CrNi18-10 - This is a chromium-nickel austenitic steel. The presence of nickel in it in the amount of 8 - 10% leads to the fact that the austenitic phase is preserved at temperatures from low to 1050 ° C. The main advantage of this class of steel is its high service characteristics. It exhibits strength, plasticity, corrosion resistance in most working environments and has good processability. Therefore, this grade of steel has found wide application as a structural material in various fields.
This steel is non-magnetic in the annealed condition, but it can become slightly magnetized due to the addition of martensite or ferrite. This usually occurs during cold working or welding.

AISI 430 | EN 1.4016 | DIN X6Cr17 - is one of many stainless ferritic chromium corrosion-resistant steels that is most widely used. It belongs to the group of general-purpose stainless steels. It combines high strength and mechanical properties, high corrosion resistance, including atmospheric, excellent machinability, good plastic deformability, applicability to the processes of drawing, stamping, punching holes, etc.
This grade of stainless steel is magnetic in the annealed condition.

AISI 316 | EN 1.4401 | DIN X5CrNiMo17-12-2 is an acid-resistant austenitic stainless steel that is suitable for use in aggressive environments: phosphoric, nitric, citric, lactic, formic, acetic acids, in the presence of alkalis - hydroxides and salts - nitrates, chlorides, fluorides, acetates and sulfates. This brand also shows excellent resistance to the marine environment and salts.
Steel is not resistant to hydrochloric acid, orthophosphoric acid, formic acid in high concentrations, sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid.
This grade of stainless steel is non-magnetic.

AISI 420 | EN 1.4034 | DIN X46Cr13 - is a martensitic stainless steel which has good polishing and mechanical properties but poor weldability. Due to its high carbon content, this steel is very hard. It has good corrosion resistance in non-chloride environments and weak organic acids. Good resistance to water and steam. Not resistant to intergranular corrosion under as-welded or welded conditions. Due to the precipitation of chromium carbides and the formation of chromium-depleted areas adjacent to these precipitations, this stainless steel should not be used in soft annealed conditions or at elevated temperatures if corrosion is a problem. Optimum corrosion resistance is therefore achieved in the hardened condition with a polished surface.

AISI 321 | EN 1.4541 | DIN X6CrNiTi18-10 - is an austenitic stainless steel which is able to provide excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion. It has good creep resistance. It is used mainly in parts and structures involving continuous and intermittent working temperatures in the carbide precipitation range of 427 - 816 ℃. EN 1.4541 has the same corrosion properties as EN 1.4301 / AISI 304, except for improved resistance to intergranular corrosion due to the addition of titanium for stabilization. Resistance to organic acids and other acids is excellent. However, it should be noted that prolonged exposure to temperature can reduce the overall corrosion resistance, but this steel grade remains in a better condition compared to non-stabilized steel grades.
