Stainless steel alloys

Stainless steel alloys - are macroscopically homogeneous metallic corrosion-resistant materials consisting of a mixture of two or more chemical elements with a predominance of metallic components. Alloys consist of a base, small additives, alloying and modifying elements specially introduced into the alloy, as well as unadded impurities.

List of stainless steel alloys

Stainless steel alloys containing less than 50% iron and possessing better anti-corrosion properties, higher acid resistance and heat resistance are not considered steels. The crystalline structure of a stainless alloy is more complex than that of a pure metal and depends on the type of interaction of its components, which form phases during crystallization.
