Technical stainless steel
Technical

Technical stainless steel - is a stainless alloy that is not recommended for use in contact with drinking water and food products. When interacting, hazardous, harmful, toxic substances formed on the metal surface may be released into food and water. Such substances are formed due to the scanty amount or complete absence of such chemical elements as nickel, titanium, cobalt, molybdenum, etc. in the composition of technical stainless steel. These elements should prevent the formation of corrosion, oxidation, solubility, disintegration of steel when in contact with food, drinks, etc.
This type of steel mainly includes grades of the 400 series.
